History of The United Bikers of Maine

United Bikers of Maine is a Motorcyclist's Rights Organization that represents ALL motorcyclists, regardless of the brand of motorcycle you ride.
We are many different people who share one common thread, we ride and love motorcycles.  Our membership is open to anyone who cares about protecting their rights as a motorcyclists.

UBM stands for ensuring your rights as a motorcyclist by fighting " anti - motorcycle " legislation and promoting " fair " motorcycle legislation.

United Bikers of Maine has been involved in the business of protecting our rights as motorcyclists and helping our communities since we were incorporated in 1975.

In the years since that time our membership has continued to grow. Currently our membership numbers are approximately 3,000 strong, a far cry from the beginning.

Joining UBM, will help us to grow and become stronger, a more - effective motorcyclists rights watchdog.

Our County Director

Johnny Bochicchio, lovingly referred to as "Johnny B"  has been a member of the UBM for many years.  He is an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and logs thousands on his bike each year.  Johnny and his slate of officers in Piscataquis County are dedicated to making their county and state a safer place to ride.  Through his leadership, and in following the footsteps of great people who have gone before him, Piscataquis County is up and running with new ideas, fresh events and rides, and enthusiastic people who are committed to safe, lawful, and sensible riding throughout the county and our great state.
